Wow! Talk about being busy! This has been an incredible Summer! From California to New Jersey, from Texas and Florida to Wisconsin, buyers have come in from all areas of the country to find new homes for retirement, investment, and just plain living.
Those who are looking for a home in the areas of New Bern or Oriental should know that we are currently into what is very much a "Buyers' Market". Note that it is not called a "waiters' market" or a "lookers' market", but is a "Buyers' Market". It's a good time to buy because prices are low, inventory is high, and interest rates are quite reasonable.
However, not every home on the market is a good buy. But there is a set of homes that really are, based on their price, their condition, and the motivation of the seller. And those homes are the ones that are selling. I'll take you to see those homes, and you must be ready to act. When a house fits your criteria and it's a best buy, that's when you buy. You cannot expect the price to come down in the future because only the overpriced homes will come down. The ones that are currently priced right are being bought.
There are best buys for price range, location, etc. To view the best buys of the type home and location you are interested in, contact me at joebrant@jbrant.com, giving me a list of the five things you must have for your new residence.
